Cooling liquid is pumped into outdoor heat exchanger (evaporator). Here, the liquid via the fan absorbs the energy from atmosphere into temperature variation gained outside. During this process, the liquid is changed to gaseous state. Gaseous state is sucked by mechanical part of system, the compressor. Here it is pressed, the pressure is increasing and afterwards the liquid temperature increases. Then, the liquid is transferred into the second indoor heat exchanger (condenser) and transfers heat into the water in the boiler. By cooling, liquid is changing into liquid state. Liquid pressure is reduced due to throttling, which takes place in the expansion valve and the process begins again.
