Despite high level of reliability and efficiency, thermodynamic solar systems are not limited by disadvantages of traditional systems. Complete system was designed to operate without maintenance what reduces operation costs. Thermodynamic solar system uses a closed circuit, which does not require regular adding of coolant. Furthermore, the system uses heat exchanger made from titanium with very high resistance towards pool chlorine. Also smaller number of solar panels is enough for this system in contrast to traditional systems, and this way is more economical and efficient.

This unit of the Thermodynamic Solar System includes following components: a compressor with low consumption, which controls liquid circulating in the whole system, a heat exchanger, which dissipates heat into the water for consumption (DHW) or closed heating circuit (Central heating and Pool heating) and an expansion component, which reduces the boiling point app. from -30°C, so it can go back into the thermodynamic solar panels and capture heat again.

Thermodynamic Solar System joins two incomplete technologies, the heat pump and the solar thermal collector. Heat pumps are very efficient devices, but they cannot extract energy from the sun shine. Solar thermal collectors are the most suitable source of heat on warm and sunny days, but they are absolutely unuseful, when the sun doesn´t shine. Thermodynamic solar technology can overcome limits of both the heat pump and the solar collector technologies. Through the cooling liquid (R134a or R407c) circulating in the closed circuit, the liquid runs into the solar panel and takes the energy from sun, rain, wind and surrounding environment. During this process, the liquid gains heat in more effective way than the heat pump. After this step, the heat is delivered into the heat exchanger via small compressor, which warms water. Since the liquid has boiling point around -26°C, the system operates also when the sun is not shining. It provides hot water during the day, in the night, rain and wind unlike the common solar thermal system. In the system, there are no fans, which help in the process of evaporation or de-icing, what means unnecessary energy consumption.
Since the liquid has boiling point around -30°C, the system operates also when the sun is not shining and even in the night, it provides 55°C hot water, during day and in the night, storms, rain, wind, unlike the common solar thermal system. Energy consumption of the system is basically the same as in the cooling compressor inducing liquid circulating. In the system, there are no fans, which help in the process of evaporation or de-icing, what means unnecessary energy consumption, unlike what happens with heat pumps.
